Here’s a quick overview of my background:
• Prior to starting my own firm, ABC&D Communications, in 2002, I held senior management positions with advertising/PR agencies in Chicago and Nashville, and served as director of communications for two international non-profit organizations. I also was a correspondent for one of the largest newspapers in Illinois and an editorial consultant for a health care magazine.
• Throughout my career, I’ve worked with hundreds of news media representatives from local to international levels, and have provided support to brands such as Coca-Cola Bottling Co., LifeWay Christian Resources and Saturn Corporation, as well as to local affiliates of Coldwell Banker, John Hancock and UBuildIt.
• Industries in which I’ve represented clients include construction, education, energy, financial services, health care, hospitality, information systems, insurance, manufacturing, not-for-profit, private equity, publishing, real estate, sports and technology.
• I’ve been part of numerous marketing teams and have a good deal of experience integrating PR into overall branding strategy, helping companies achieve their business objectives through focused communication and savvy public relations.
